Finally I had some time to review and make changes to the document you created. I have been tied up with our annual sales meeting for the past several weeks and finally had some time to breathe.

I think you did a fantastic job consolidating the breadth of information I provided. I gave some feedback in redline format in the attached document. Of course, you're the expert, so I ask that you review and remove anything that you see as extraneous.

I would very much like for you to incorporate the testimonials in a cover letter. And would also like you to provide the "language" for marketing ladders that Peter mentioned could also be used on Linked-In.

I have reviewed each of these documents. In general I am quite pleased as I think that you have do an excellent job at synthesizing my information. I have attached each of the documents with changes. I might add, that there are not too many changes.

One of my strengths is communication; the ability to talk about IT "stuff" with anyone and get them to understand what they want/need. I added one line on my bio, but I am not sure where to put this into my resume. A lot of IT people get hung up on the technology and lose sight of the needs of the business. I want to make sure that this is somehow included as well.

Thanks, this is looking much much better!! I've attached the added data you wanted and some changes...hopefully they are clearly marked, just let me know if you have any quesitons about it. I added an accomplishment under Novell since it was a big deal at that time.

Also added a couple quotes from former managers if that helps and they can be pared down of course.

The font is actualy my favorite so that works perfectly for me.

I know at the time we decided no cover letter but can you tell me what that would cost at this stage? I realized that I would need a better one than I have at this point and might as well have it done by you if you are able to do that.

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving (I went to the parade for the first time--so fun!).

First I want to mention that I'm working in Word 2003, and it displays tracked changes differently than earlier versions. If you're working in another version of Word and can't see my edits properly, let me know and I can probably convert to PDF to show changes or figure out another solutions.

I really like the direction you've taken on the resume. I sent you a lot of junk and you really made sense of it. Bravo!! I'm attaching with some edits and questions that I've made (I tried to adapt it to AP style since I'm claiming this as an area of expertise; also made some other changes). If you have any feedback about my changes, let me know.

On the letter, my biggest concern is easily adapting this to different jobs since I'm applying to a wide range of opps. I seem to be getting a lot of response from companies looking for really strong writers, and have been told it's tough to find someone with my combined skill set. Any suggestions are appreciated!
