Wow, I'm impressed! I wasn't expecting this so quickly.

I agree with all the suggestions/changes you made. It does present a more polished and porfessional image the way you've presented it.

I made just a few changes in terminology to fit with industry standards. We refer to it as the "Quick Service" (QSR) not "fast service" and when referring to individual sales the industry refers to it as "check averages". I think I only found one or two minor things which I have highlighted.

I can't wait to start sending this out and seeing what results I get.

Congradulations, what a great job!

I used MS Word "Track Changes" Function to allow you to easily see what changes I propose as far as information is concerned. There may be a better way to include the general information--I did not focus on sentence structure--well not that much).

The only change needed on the equally great cover letter is the addition of PMB (postal mail box) information in the header.

I really appreciate your work. What other information would be included in a bio? I seems to me that the resume is so informiative that a bio may not be all that useful. What do you think ? I will be leaving the resume with various national elected and appointed officials in DC if the job at IU does not materialize.

After you make the changes you deem need to be made, please send both the formatted version and a plain ASCII so I can simply copy for uploading on various job boards etc.

If I want to have your company distribute widely, then I will let you know. If I feel the need to broaden the search to industry, I will revise the current resume and ask you to edit etc. I understand your need to charge me for a second resume--given the quality of your materials you should be getting more money anyway.

I am now embarresed to tell you how much money I almost spent with another company...it was outrageous ($8,975.00). I received a full refund from them last week.

Thank you very much for your email and the work that you have done. I have to say that I would never have had the patience nor skills to do what you have accomplished.

I think that the cover letter is perfect, and I have actually just used it tonight. the CV is more clear and precise, and gives a message of action and execution. I have not yet decided in what form and with what numbers that I would use, since I have difficulty in using numbers (that are correct) but not yet approved by my company. So I want to use a lot of discretion upon using my CV.

Furthermore, I also think that the CV is very useful for the preparation for the interview with regards to the message that I want to give to the interviewer. I would like to take the time to digest it, work with it, adjust it to my discretion and then use it. I will not ask you for more help, unless something unusual comes up.

Just wanted you to know I had a 30 minute preliminary interview with an executive recruiter, Paladin Staffing, which turned into a full hour, for a marketing psn wiht\th DANYA a nonprofit who works closely with CDC on HIV/AIDS initiatives. It IS nonprofit, but still offers a handsome salary - not quite for profit, but 50% more than my previous nonprofit. Paladin has worked with Danya for several years and has placed several very satified employees there. They told me they have a great work environment and there is room for upward mobility.

Please allow a general question: In Germany, companies often want to receive a CV in German in addition to an English one. Dou you know - by chance - someone who could translate the CV (after finalization)?

I have made 2 corrections. It appears that in several instances an upercase i has appeared were a 1 should be. One is in my address where I have also added "Apt". Not sure how this fits into "Resume English", so you can make it appropriate for this style. Added certification grroups 1 and 2 as this is how they are represented by the organization responsible for the testing.

I am really happy with the results!

I must admit that I was reserving judgement because the resume was so different from what I had created before. (Of course, what I had created was terrible, but it's hard to let go sometimes!)

However, after having some people proof it for me the reaction was across-the-board positive. And the cover letter is really good. I'm genuinely excited about sending these out and beginning the job search.

I do have a couple of changes to request, but they're mainly about moving a information around. Also, the verb tenses can all be made in the past tense now. (I was a part of AOL's recent layoffs.) I've put most of my comments in notes in the document.

Attached are the revisions that I made. I was able to get some quantifiable results, but I am still trying to get more from my clients. I also listed out specific projects that I worked on, I'm not sure of the best way to include that information.

In regards to formating, can you please use a font from the Helvetica family?
