Rigel gives some good insight into the statistic that in February there were more people who quit their jobs than were laid off, which is the first time that has happened in 15 months.
Rigel suggests that the recession and crummy economy has created “a backlog of dissatisfied, unhappy employees…”
I think it’s a sign that THERE IS NO END TO CAREER MANAGEMENT. It doesn’t matter why you transition (you leave, they let you go, the company goes under, etc.), you have to understand that you will transition, with frequency, throughout the rest of your career!
