Creating Evangelists in your Job Search

I’m big on helping job seekers find others who will talk about them.  I call those people “evangelists.”  People need to understand who you are, become passionate (or at least bought into) your message, and know what to say about you.

I could end this blog post with that… there’s actually quite a bit of meat in that last sentence.  Here it is again:

People need to understand who you are, become passionate (or at least bought into) your message, and know what to say about you.

This is the same thing salespeople want.  They want their customers to become evangelists for them.  Doesn’t that make sense?
